How to Prepare Your Photo Card Artwork
For the best printing results, prepare your artwork with 1.5mm bleed on each side (3mm in total for both sides). For example, if your preferred photo card size is 89mm × 54mm, your artwork size including bleed should be 92mm × 57mm.
Keep important text, photos and graphic elements within the safe area, at least 2mm away from every edge, to reduce the risk of them being cut off during trimming. For an 89mm × 54mm photo card, the safe area should be within 85mm × 50mm.
Before submitting your artwork, make sure the front and back designs are correctly arranged and all important elements stay within the safe area.
Use clear, high-resolution images to help maintain image quality in print. If your design includes backgrounds or images that extend to the edges, allow for the required bleed when preparing your artwork.
